Gabrielle BB bag by Moynat, one of the oldest French bag & trunk maker (est. 1849). Like Rejane, another classic Moynat model, the Gabrielle bag is also named the House founder’s first muse, Gabrielle Rejane.

Quiet luxury – Moynat is one of the best-kept secrets of the luxury world, sharing rank of craftsmanship and exclusivity with other long-standing luxury houses like Hermes, Goyard and Delvaux.

 

Like Goyard and Louis Vuitton, Moynat started their maison in making trunks. After being acquired by the luxury giant LVMH group in 2010, Moynat extended their century-old tradition and craftsmanship to making handbags.

Gabrielle bag in minimalistic top-handle look is an instant timeless design. This silhouette is elegantly defined by curved lines, of which inspired by Moynat’s historic Limousine Trunk. True to its Parisian spirit, the look is composed, polished and sophisticated.

The streamlined flap of Gabrielle bag is charmingly detailed by a M-shaped metallic clasp which holds a “V” swivel lock. The outstanding detail hasn’t ended yet, the magnetic underneath of M clasp holds the bag firmly from spilling out.

Leather – Bag’s exterior is fully made of sturdy cowhide leather with light printed grains to withstand wears and scratches, this leather shares similar characteristics to H’s Epsom leather.

Colour – “Poudre” pastel beige colour, light neutral shade with a warmth tone. Subtly toned with silver hardware.

Size BB – This mini Gabrielle is effortlessly dainty and elegant, goes from day to night. Compact but capable of fitting in essentials like (larger) phone, small wallet, card holder and etc.

Versatility – To adapt modern lifestyles, it can be carried in hand by its top handle for a graceful look, or by its adjustable strap for shoulder and cross-body carry.
