Special! As we explored before on the special handles that Karl created in the 1990s (like metal snake chain, tortoiseshell resin, bijoux chain and etc.). This one we’re presenting here is rare!

Two-tone resin hardware – One side is the mysterious “So Black” and the other side is the “shadow” in contrasting cream-beige colour, this combination is also a nod to Chanel’s classic two-tone shoes.

Despite the chunky XL-size chain handle, this vintage flap is actually lighter than the others, thanks to the light resin material and single-flap design. About the size of medium flap but without the inner flap, it fits more on the inside.

The exterior of this flap is made of calfskin leather which has the luxurious look of lambskin but much hard-wearing texture.

The longer single-chain handle means it can be carried comfortably on shoulder, or high crossbody for some users (check drop length).
