Description

Entering the 1950s era, after the war, although ladies’ bags at that time were still mainly top handled and carried in hand, women’s desire for something practical and convenient started to take root. In 1955, the same year Chanel 2.55 bag was born and like that revolutionary design, Gucci Horsebit bag was designed as one of the first bags carried on the shoulder, to set women’s hands free.

Quintessentially Gucci, the Horsebit bag represents the House’s long history of association with equestrian sport. Its structured boxy silhouette took inspiration from the traditional saddle bag, softened by rounded and curved edges for an elegant finish.

Versatile for modern styles, the Horsebit bag can be carried in hand, on a side of the shoulder or crossbody, thanks to its buttoned strap that can be adjusted into 3 different lengths.

The medium size Horsebit bag provides ample capacity to carry your essentials, with a main compartment in the middle and 2 large flat pockets on the sides.
