Rare in Box leather! One of the earliest leathers Hermès ever used – the history goes all the way back to 1920s, the “Box” tanning technique originated in England. This leather has a polished ultra-smooth appearance, its structure is firm and holds its shape well.

One of the unique characters of Box leather is, it would season and gain a graceful silky patina over time. It may be sensitive to scratches at first, once broken in, the leather would soften elegantly and light marks can be easily buffed off.

Resembling twinkling stars, four pieces of pyramid-shaped studs embellished the front of Medor clutch. This line of clutch was extended from the Medor watch concept – similar to Collier de Chien’s concept, the idea of leather band with studs was first came from hunting dog’s collar, and now became one of the iconic elements of Hermès.

Sized in 23 cm of length, the Medor clutch is compact but yet functional to hold your essentials (large phone, flat wallet/card holder, key, beauty items). Understated design with exquisite craftsmanship details, the Medor clutch is truly a timeless luxury piece.
