Description

The “Fantaisies Indiennes” print of Hermes depicts a majestic Tree of Life surrounded by figures and animals from the frescoes and murals of the Shekhawati region (Rajasthan, India). This print is grand and breathtaking in 140cm giant size!

To add more mythical colour to this fantasy print, Loic Dubigeon, the artist, added elements like Dhola Maru (Indian Romeo and Juliet) eloping on a camel and British colony-influenced transportation (bicycle, motorcar and train).

Presented in “Rouge Vif” bright red base with orange and violet around the frame, and an illuminating splash of blue and green on the Tree of Life.

Since 1937, silk scarves has become an inseparable element in Hermes’ heritage. No luxury fashion house makes scarves as ingeniously and artistically as H – every prints are meticulously drawn and created by independent artists, the subjects could vary from abstract to zoology (and equestrian!).

Collectors of Hermes scarves are just as passionate as Hermes bag collectors. These vivid silks can be worn in daily life, or framed up to decorate a space.
