From the early 1 series vintage, circa 1989. CHANEL 31 is a retro-inspired design with oval cut-out handle for graceful hand carry, this design has been refreshed and it currently in the latest collection.

The name 31 pays a homage to one of most iconic addresses in Paris, the 31 Rue Cambon boutique. But the number also plays on a French expression “se mettre sur son 31” (EN: to put on one’s thirty-one) which means “to dress up to your best”!

It’s not black! One of the darkest blue shades and it was inspired by the traditional colourway on navy uniform. This elegant dark blue is sparkled up by vintage 24k gold plated hardware.

Thanks to its dainty silhouette, this Mini 31 could effortlessly go from day to night, from casual to evening. Quite a rare feature for vintage Chanel – it comes with a detachable long chain for crossbody carry!
