A runway-limited piece from the “Brasserie Gabrielle” collection. Coco Chanel often attended the Parisian brasseries with her artist friends, a scene where elegance, enlightening minds and gastronomy created a harmonious blend.
On the runway, all 97 models were wearing the iconic two-tone slingback shoes which the late Karl Lagerfeld had not used once in over 30 years during his time in Chanel.
Two tone – Aesthetically geometric, harmoniously bold and eye-catching. The two-tone leather on this BOY bag took its inspiration from the iconic shoes and the interior of Parisian brasserie (like the Le Flandrin).
To finish the look with a little sparkling glamour, metallic champagne-gold colour is chosen to complement the classic black. This classy combination evokes palette from the Art Deco era.
Chanel BOY’s adventurous personality is expressed in its sliding chain handle – double it or extend it – carry it in hand, on a side of the shoulder or crossbody.
The size of the small BOY bag (20.5 cm) is comparable to the mini classic flap (20 cm). This petite size would effortlessly go from day to night, casual to dressy.
