Early 2000s era vintage, mid series 8, circa 2003-2004. This delicately petite Camellia Mini tells the spirit of art ateliers, particularly the feather and flower maker Lemarié, through that handmade camellia flower charm with exquisite leather petals.
The iconic interlaced chain is minimised to complement the dainty look. Its long drop length allows it to be carried crossbody.
Airy light! Slightly smaller than the current rectangular mini, this Camellia Mini is lighter and still capable of fitting a large smartphone inside.

Camellia – Story has it that the young Coco Chanel was first attracted to the camellia flower when she saw the play “La Dame aux Camélias”. Her love for this flower reignited when her lover, Boy Capel presented her a bouquet of camellia. Around 1913, Coco started introduce this signature flower on her designs.
Without fragrance or thorn, camellia flower symbolises purity and love, and Coco Chanel loved its simplicity of geometric rounded petals. The camellia flower can be found on Chanel designs, from the classic little black dress to the jewelleries, and now on the classic bag.
