An unusual, a rare vintage piece with a little story behind! This clutch was made to celebrate “1884 – 1984 · 100 Years of Racing in Hong Kong“, with a special horse button to mark this event.

One of Hermès’ retired vintage designs, this Pochette Rio is elegantly simple in its envelope look, detailed with a dainty horse button! This flat clutch could hold a smartphone, flat card holder, car key and a couple of small items inside.

Box leather – One of the earliest leathers Hermès ever used – the history goes all the way back to 1920s, the “Box” tanning technique originated in England. This leather has a polished ultra-smooth appearance, its structure is firm and holds its shape well.

• ‘Box’ calfskin leather in dark red “Rouge H”.
• Envelope flap closure with a “HERMES CUP HONG KONG 84” button
• Gold foil trademark stamping.
• Stamp (N) circa 1984
