Before limited release became regular like now, there was the Candy collection from early 2010s era. There were only 2 releases: Spring 2011 and Fall 2012, making these highly sought-after among the collectors.
Like its name hints, the Candy collection reimagined the Birkin and Kelly in vivid duo‑color schemes. Featuring saturated Epsom calfskin exteriors (chosen by Hermès for its ability to hold bright dyes) with contrasting Chèvre goatskin interiors.
The Rouge Casaque + Bleu Thalassa combo is a collector’s favorite for its “Nautical” aesthetic. And the Permabrass light gold hardware further increased its rarity.
