Description
“Sellier” refers to the traditional saddle stitching that gives the Kelly bag’s sides a firm and sturdy outward stitched seams. This method requires a higher craftsmanship and it would take longer time, hence its costlier price both in the retail and on the secondary market.
Ardennes leather – This calfskin combined the durable grain texture of Togo with the thinness of Epsom. Many collectors consider this leather to be a “work horse”, this crisp leather is one of the most durable H leathers, extremely robust against wear and water. This discontinued leather is now being hunted and sought by those who know.
Appearance: Thick pressed grains and a slight sheen.
Feel: Crisp and firm to touch, with some suppleness.
Rouge H – First created in 1925, Rouge H is an emblematic color for Hermes. Like maroon, classy elegant dark red with a hint of brown, verging on burgundy. Paired with gold-plated hardware for that perfect spark.
