The bag’s name was officially styled as “Sac Week-End” by LV when it first made its debut in 1974. The exact piece presenting here is a circa-1982 vintage, with distinctive characteristics unique to the 80s batches (like sturdier monogram canvas, ECLAIR zipper and pigskin leather interior).
A Louis Vuitton piece full of authentic vintage characters and history of journey, it’s for those who want a tote bag (like the new On The Go) but something more hipster and unique.
Rectangular tote bag without fancy embellishment – the style of Sac Weekend is timeless, classic for men and women.
Wide and spacious with its 40 cm of length (longer on top for easier access!), it’s capable of holding large items like laptop and document files. With narrow side of 9.5 cm, the Sac Weekend is sleek to be carried around the city and slid into any space.
The best feature on this bag that we like is the brown treated leather trim (similar on the vintage and new Papillon bags). Not just that it gives the bag a rich vintage flair, but also extremely durable and easy to maintain.
