Description

Vintage, circa 1994. The original concept Louis Vuitton Noé bag from the 1930s was designed to hold and transport bottles of champagne. Decades later, this classic bucket bag has evolved and now become one of LV’s icons and city bags.

Tall, capacious and relatively lightweight, this would make a capable bag for every day and travel.

Louis Vuitton’s 1990s vintage Epi leather bags are known and loved for their sturdy structure, outstanding durability and classic designs.

You would be surprised that vintage Epi leather holds up even better than the classic Monogram canvas, all thanks to the deep-dye tanning process that gave the leather a resistant finish.

The Colours

Kenyan Fawn – With inspirations from Kenya’s safari, it’s a beautiful deep red-brown colour.

Cipango (caramel-like golden brown) – The name Cipango (French for Cipangu) is a poetic name for Japan, used by Marco Polo to illustrate these islands rich in gold, precious stones and spices.

Fascinatingly, the colours from the 1990s vintage Epi collection were named after some travel destinations (like Borneo, Toledo, Kenyan, Winnipeg, Castilian, Tassili, Cipango) to honour the Louis Vuitton’s travel heritage.
