First debuted in fall-winter 2010 collection, the Toolbox bag stands as one of Hermès modern icons. True to H’s whimsical spirit, this bag took its inspiration from tool box, featuring a gable-top opening (that’s why some call it “milk carton” bag!).

Boxy with squared edges but not rigid, the elegance Toolbox emanates is effortless and relaxed, thanks to the fitting leathers (Swift or Evercolor) Hermes selected to craft this design.

Toolbox bag in size 26 (cm) is spacious for everyday and travel. Equipped with top handles and a detachable short canvas shoulder strap, this bag is also versatile and adaptable.

Verso colours – Bleu Zanzibar: this colour is named after the Indian Ocean island, Hermes blended a soothing blue to depict the breathtaking nature scenes of Zanzibar island. As a colourful contrast, Malachite green colour decorates the inside of this bag.

Made of Evercolor cowhide, this leather is known for taking and presenting colour brilliantly, it offers in a wide range of H colours. Because of its printed smaller grains, Evercolor slots between the Togo and Swift leathers. An ideal choice for those for like the scratch-resistant durability of Togo but the fine supple touch of Swift. Evercolor’s texture will continue to become shinier and more supple over time.
