Vintage, circa 1983. The 1980s collections were known for their sturdier materials (monogram canvas, vuittonite interior, brass hardware, vachetta leather) compared with other eras, this 80s Sac Plat even has double stitches on leather tabs. This vintage piece presenting here is a good example of 1980s LV, well-kept for its age and lightly used.

Sac Plat (in French, literally Flat Bag) first made its debut in 1968. With the rising of gender equality, the original-version Sac Plat became a popular multipurpose hold-all among the modern women of that time. Used for carrying shopping, work files and even light travel.

The design is simple, timeless and undoubtedly functional. Sac Plat is a tall rectangular tote, with narrow sides and short firm handles to keep it sleek. Ideal to carry large-size items like 15in laptop and document files.

True to its travel heritage and spirit, Sac Plat can be stored flat to save space, thanks to it folded gussets on the sides and base.
