Presenting here is a vintage Louis Vuitton clutch from circa late 1970s to early 1980s (the era before date code was introduced!). Back to that era when LV was mostly accessed by the affluence, the ladies who carried this clutch were the ones on the cutting edge of fashion.
Translates “folding clutch” in French, we like the folding design of this Pochette Pliante than other zipped pouches, it gives the clutch a more defined classic look.
With similar sturdy build quality of 1980s vintage (thicker monogram canvas, solid leather trim, strong beeswaxed thread and real brass hardware).
Fastened by a snap button on vachetta leather clasp. The main compartment is rather simple and functional to hold your essentials (larger phone, small wallet, card holder, keys, beauty items and etc.). A useful small zipped pocket underneath the fold, handy to store a phone.
